Big Basketball Jersey Creator Update Available Now - Improved 2K26 Support, Font Export and More

We are happy to announce that the newest update for the Basketball Jersey Creator is live now, bringing improved support for 2K26 alongside the much anticipated font export feature.

With this update, numbers and names will accurately translate from the Jersey Creator to ingame, including details such as their position, scale and rotation. Player names can be arched or straight, again staying accurate to what was set inside the Jersey Creator. In order to take advantage of this, make sure that the respective layers have the "Printing Type" set correctly to either Front Number, Back Number or Name. When adding a font via the Printing option, this will be set automatically. The Printing Type setting is required for the Jersey Creator to know which layer represents which printing type. This feature works in both 2K25 and the new 2K26.

The font style and colors are also exported correctly, both for the names and the numbers. Please note that only NBA 2K25 is supported here at the moment as the font file format has changed in 2K26. Please also note that some settings that are available in the Jersey Creator are not available ingame. For example, if you add an extra border to a font it will not be there ingame. Similarly, numbers cannot be arched ingame and we have also not implemented rotated names at the moment.

NBA 2K does not support different styles or colorways for front and back numbers, so the export will use the back number font style and colors for both by default.

In addition, shininess set in the Jersey Creator will now also be exported correctly to ingame, as you can see on the subtle pattern on the Golden State Warriors jersey above.

Finally, we have implemented a dedicated NBA 2K26 export mode, featuring all the different teams and jerseys that are available in the game right now. Number and name textures are also not exported at the moment when using this mode, due to the aforementioned compatibility issues.
